Sunflower is a beautiful flower full of symmetry. The flowers always try to face the Sun. That is they have earned this name. In Punjab and Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, this is grown as a cash crop. The seeds are used to extract oil which is used as a cooking medium. The flowers are very big in size and are very heavy. The inner core is like a comb with cavities where the seeds are formed.
